Meet Heather!
I have over 20 years’ experience in finance, operations management, and running SMEs. As a businesswoman and a mum of three (plus a very excitable dog), I know exactly what it’s like to try and do it all — and the frustration of feeling like you’re falling short because there simply aren’t enough hours in the day.
I live in Lancashire- home of good cheese and rolling countryside- but My Outsourced Assistant is my true fourth child, born post-pandemic.
Why I Started My Outsourced Assistant
My Outsourced Assistant (My OA) grew out of something I’ve always loved: helping friends and colleagues build successful businesses by stepping in where they lacked time, expertise, or headspace. Whether that meant bookkeeping, social media, or just untangling the messy stuff, I found huge satisfaction in helping them hit their goals.
So I turned that passion into a business. Today, My OA supports small and medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurs across the UK. We don’t just clear to-do lists — we empower owners with the tools, processes, and confidence to grow. Because when you succeed, we succeed too.
