Hi hope you all have had a good Monday so far? Mine has been a day of juggling work and kids- lots of working parents and business owners will feel my pain with this week as it's half term holidays. Would love to hear from other working parents, how do you balance kids and work in the holidays? Feel free to drop me a comment or email me. I am blessed to have a partner who is happy to do his fair share and owns a company too so we are able to shift things around in the holidays to make it work. When there are clashes, Nana and kids club are on speed dial.

I loathe having my picture taken, the above is one of several I took before I gave up and selected something at random. No matter how hard I try, I end up looking bog eyed and no angles can disguise my nose that bends the wrong way thanks to childhood pursuits like skateboarding over bricks (I think I did that on half term aged 9 whilst my Mum studied for her Masters...) BUT the proof is in the picture- your VA isn't AI. If I was Amazon's AIexa, I surely would look flawlessly beautiful with perfectly symmetrical features and fresh, radiant eyes. Mine in stark comparison are heavy and dark after a day at creating tender proposals and breaking up the fights that occur when my children are together for 5 minutes unattended and Daddy has nipped for a comfort break or to seek a moments rest bite from being our three year old's make up model in the quietness of the laundry room. My partner is a sport when it comes down to playtime, Daddy is the fun guy for sure. I would not let our daughter near my face with a make up applicator and washable eyeshadow. I am under no illusions- if I sat still and closed my eyes and obliged, the washable eyeshadow would be replaced with a permanent marker in a heart beat.

I love to try and truly understand my clients. Whilst Alexa may listen quietly in the background and pick up subtleties like your consumer choices- human emotion is something that AI cannot replicate. Sure, you can ask Alexa to remind you of your calendar, set alarms and order shopping but as a Virtual Assistant I offer more than automation. With My Outsourced Assistant you get a personalised, flexible and cost efficient solution to help lighten your load or help you upscale. From admin, social media management, bookkeeping, content writing to name a few ways My Outsourced Assistant can step in and assist you. Handling tasks with skill and care is something that can't be done by AI. Please contact me by email or phone if you are interested in finding out more about how My Outsourced Assistant can free up your time for what really matters. To the working parents out there- you've got this. One business day down four to go... #delegateandthrive #virtualassistantlancashire #februaryhalfterm
